But would be more feesable is a 5.0 Fuel injected and OD trans out of a 90 ish Fox Body Mustang, Lincoln, Merc etc. They are cheap to find and make good power and very dirveable.

That would be a good idea but I was thinking of a diesel-stang?

Hi,
MY marine recruit son Michael purchased a 1999 Stang just before he left for boot camp. It has a 3.8L in it and is it tight in engine bay. He left his dad the keys to the car? diesel transplant anyone - just kidding. I am going to let him pay for his own gas and insurance, he is under 25 and on our policy, when he gets home in October. gsgIDI
