how to pull intake hat while still attached to turbo?

Ok everyone I'm having a heck of a time trying to get the intake hat off while still attached to the turbo. Any pointers on what I can do to ease my frustrations?

loosen the compressor bolts so it will pivot up a bit, it will never come off otherwise.

Yep I finally figured it out! Thanks again for the intake hat Russ!

In case anyone else needs this info... you can get to about 4 of the bolts (1/2") on the compressor housing and basically pry/wiggle the intake hat up and then slip it off.

If anyone needs this ats intake hat it may be up for grabs soon!

I need to reseal my snail. Are you just splitting the turbo with it still mounted?
