1987 F-250 Two Wheel Drive

6.9, supercab, Auto (assume C6), under 190 k miles

Described as minor body rust. Two tone silver/black. NOT 4WD

Runs good/sold as is.

around $1,500.00

It's been listed for a while.

Makes me think that there's something really wrong with it, or else maybe it's being saved especially for me.

What would YOU do?

Oh yeah, It's got those Alcoas on it that I've been wanting for my '95

Id grab it up. If its a decent ruck then rock on. But the Alcoas would just about be enough for me to grab it. Been wanting some for a while

I have a problem passing up deals: I would have more trucks if it wasn't for the wife brow beating me...

So then I look at the pictures again. After studying them for three weeks off and on.

And discover a banks sticker in the back window.

I am waiting on a reply to my inquiry of the seller.

The easiest way for me to say no to another truck is to tell my wife I am looking at another one.:dunno

I dont know if any of us here know how to say no to things like that. You may have come to the wrong place asking for advice! LOL We are enablers here.

It sounds like a good solid truck, 4wd or not I think its good at that price.

Just buy it... The price sounds fine and parting it out might even turn a profit if thats what you end up doing.

i have a problem saying no. especially if the truck is for sale under $500. I bought two in one weekend totaling to less than $700. There's one for sale at $300 I am going after this weekend. it's running but the front suspension is shot.

You can get 4wd for that price around here, now the turbo does make up for the lack of 4wd.

I don't. Not having a wife seems tom be the key there, but doesn't seems like a lot of guys are that lucky lol. I'd grab it if I were you and had the money. Can always use a spare truck
