Hi (again). Well, my "tow checks" didn't go too well. It pulled and accelerated great up to 55-60 mph. Then, that was it. Had to keep it almost floored going up a hill near town to maintain speed. Low end was great, but just seems to run out of gas once at 55...I guess that is what is meant by no speed demon....temps started climbing pretty good, too. It was about 100 degrees outside, but those are normal summer temps down here. The temp gage rose about 3/4 the way towards hot, and the aftermarket temp gage got up to 230-240. Once I got off the hill, temps dropped pretty quick back down to 190-200. I pulled the hill in and out of overdrive with the same results....kinda depressed now. Don't think it will handle the mountains as well as I had hoped.
