help with ip install

The solenoid can be adjusted two ways. The brass plunger is a 1/4 inch hex. Get a socket that size and have at it but... First loosen both bolts that hold this bracket to the pump. Now push the bracket towrads the throttle lever to take out all the slack fit in the bracket to bolts. Tighten it and see if it works. If not adjust the plunger.

The U-Haul Ebay store says "Maunal Transmission" in it's description.

Is the IP different for an Auto?

No difference in manual or automatic, I think U-Haul's fleet was all manual, so they are just stating as much as they know.
