Hey guys new here so thanks for any help I got 89 f250 5 speed 7.3 idi went to back up in driveway and lost all power ran jumper from ip to battery truck started and key accessory works when that jumper wire to ip is hooked up

First off, welcome. Second, I'm no electrical expert. I wonder if you have a bad/loose connection at your ignition switch. That's the one at the lower part of the steering column, under the dash, not the key switch.

My 89 cracked a fusible link off the fender solenoid that fed power to the cab. Drive a while, then totally dead, nothing would run. Then magically everything would be fine again minutes later as I poked around trying to figure out what caused it. Happened many times until I finally asked the group here and someone told me about that link. It was covered in loom running beside the drivers battery tray.

I repaired it by running standard wire to an automatically resetting breaker on the fender so no more fuse link.

So I changed lower ignition on column still same goin to check the links thank you guys

For us all, you're welcome. We try, but it's hard to diagnose an issue long distance. So we have to take many stabs at it.

Ok so now I thought my wiper motor was bad changed it with used one still same took little black box out wired directly still same how do I find out were issue is

You need a volt meter and a wiring diagram or you’re guessing and as you’ve seen throwing parts and money at it without change.
