Heater core delete or bypass?

I plan to revamp it later on. Mostly playing around and scraping something together from my local hardware store.

I didn't think about making it all out of fittings. Good idea!

Well, I have officially spent far too much money on this, but I love it.

I grabbed a $50 coolant filter kit for a 6.0 truck off Amazon. I wasn't impressed with the quality of work as I had to chase all the threads and they were still pretty crappy, but it is a nice solid piece of aluminum and it does it's job.

I could have gone smaller sizes on the bypass setup, but bigger is always better, right?

Here it is... Around $175 total. Yeah. Way too much. haha

Expensive, but I like that a lot better than before. You pay for quality. Those valves will always last, and if in the event your heater core ever starts leaking, you have a quick way to shut off the pressure to make sure it doesn't contaminate your cab. I like the coolant filter too. Clean hose routing. All good.
