I am in need of a knob for my headlight switch. Truck did not have knob when purchased, and I have looked everywhere I can think of. Parts store does not have one and new switch does not come with knob. Salvage yards in my area, that I have called do not keep anything older than a 2002 model. So I came here looking for help. It's getting pretty troublesome turning on my headlights with a pair of needle nose pliers.

I have purchased several items from LMC and have been very satisfied. Some of the wear parts I might not look at purchasing, but trim pieces I would definitely not hesitate.

I made a custom billet aluminum one for my 89 I might still have it around. If I find it I will let you know.

That's what I would do, make one or get some sort of knob with a set screw. That's probably the reason you don't have one now, that little clip that holds the knob on the factory setup is hard to deal with when you need to take it off, and if it gets sprung out of shape, the knob won't stay on. If you buy or make a custom knob, i would get 2, one for the headlight and one for the wiper switch.
