gasser zf behind psd??

hey guys....long time since been on here.... been gutting a 96 stroker ripped engine out and all of the wiring to go with it to transfer into my 79 crew cab.... and i have a new zf5 from a gasser that i had previously for my 429 that was in the truck... instead of finding a diesel trans i was wondering if anyone had messed with or experimented with such a ratio change... my crew has 4.10 and if i use the gasser trans would it really mess with the way it performs? as far as top end and bottom end? i know imgoing to be tapping the bell housingout and making the dowels line up but i just would like some opinions as far as trying it out! thanks and heres some pics of thetruck im frankenstining

Gasser big block trans gives you a better 1st gear.

A lot of people prefer them over the diesel version.

What'd you do with the rest of the donor truck?

79jasper it was not the best shape other than bed and cab. chassis was twisted and it was a 2wd it was completely gutted at parted out what happend to rolling chassis i dont know as to what the new owner did with it i just got it for the engine and wiring.
