Pic of me and the truck at a local pull. 8000lb Street Diesel class. With 7 tractor suitcase weights, full of fuel and my fata$$ in I was 7700. Truck pulled really well 'till the rear driveshaft broke in half.

Did you make it past that 250 mark? Did you get to bouncing, and that's what broke the shaft?

Truck didn't bounce or hop at all. Started in low range 2nd gear (automatic). Shaft broke right after I downshifted into 1st gear not much longer after the photo was taken. So no, I didn't manage to make it past 250. I had a driveshaft shortened that was behind my street/strip cougar when I had the 4 speed in that has twice the wall thickness for a replacement.
