Any know of, or has, plans or brackets to allow either the front or rear bench in a crew cab to fold out (like a futon)?? This would come in reallll handy.

IIRC....and I think I am...

Ramblers had a setup like that back in late 60's early 70's....may wanna look into pilfering their hardware and adapting it to your seats....

Just sayin

Some back seats in conversion vans fold down into a bed, too.

+1 on the rear seats in conversion vans

I have seen a lot of those in junkyards over the years and they would be close dimensionally to the rear seat in a CC and probably the easiest to adapt.

Ford crewcabs did have a rear seat that folded down into a bed. Darrin had one that towcat bought way back in 09. He took it to the ralley and I trucked it home for towcat.. It was a realy nice grey leather seat and it was so comfortable... I think it came from a centurian conversion truck but not really sure bout that..

The only thing im nervous about this, would be the safety factor. God forbid you get into an accident you don't want your seat to fold down and/or collapse, because then you would fall backwards and have the potential to hit your head on the rear glass.
