50' Goosneck 3 Car hualer, I had to deliver 2 '92 Lebarons to Battle Creek bout 90 miles SE of GR). The truck did great! and the driver (me) didn't hit anything. You really have to plan out your turns with this trailer.

It was also a good test with the new MS TEC Fan Clutch, I ran it hard for a while (74 MPH) and I heard the fan kick in for the first time since owing the truck. It kept temps under 215. I will be towing the 5ver tomorrow to Travers City, that will be the real test.

Anyone need any thing delivered? :Sly

The pic is a little deceiving, doesn't look like 50' of trailer there.
But it does look like a guy can get 3 cars up there easy enough.

Atta boy Darrin! That's what I like to see, these trucks doing what they were made for. I towed my Dads 42' 5er once and it towed like a dream, sure I knew the weight was there but the ride was very nice.

Yea, especally the lady in the Venture Minivan that had to back up so I didn't take off her front end while making a left hand turn, The trailer tires missed her by about 3". The trailer is Bob's we share the car lot, and share our stuff, it works out well!

You are right looking at the pic it doesn't look that long, I thought it was 40' but Bob said it was a 50'...shure flelt like it. There is plenty of room to put 3 good size vehicles on it.

Thanks Gruss, As far as weight goes we guestmated it at 12,000 lbs. taking the weight of the trailer off the title, and 3,000 ea for the cars. I also had my truck weighed today with an empty tow dolly and some tires in the back, it was 8,200.00. Figure the dolly is about 400.

I pumped up the air bags, and had a nice ride myslef!

is that obo or a firm price? Seems pretty reasonable for the set. LOL

That's a dayum beautiful setup there! How much did your trailer and cars weigh?

I had no idea an IDI could pull that kinda load at those speeds. :) You had to be up around 12,000 pounds.

ON EDIT: Reading subsequent posts by others... I see my guess was correct!! :)

I'd estimate the cars at about 3500-4000 pounds apiece, though. You may have been as high as 14,000...

That is the out the door price but I sold it Yesterday, sorry yer too late,... :backoff

Thanks for the comments guys, it was pretty cool hualing that setup, hplefully I can do it again. I always keep an eye out for trucks on e-bay, and someday will have to make a trip to pick some up. I just have to see what the laws are for that kind of hualing.

Later,
Darrin
