since the air is directed above the end of the nozzle that is spewing fuel it will slip right out and vent to atmosphere through the hose running up to the filler neck. then once you put the cap on the roll over valve will be allowing air into the tank through the top of the Tee. Now you do not need vented caps, you can fill up at full blast, and you maintain the integrity of the stock safety valve.
