Before my days of owning 3/4 and 1 tons i use to pull a 16ft car hauler with my bronco. I never had a load over 5000lbs behind it but it still sucked with the extremely short wheelbase of 105". Shorter than some cars. my 86 250 i added one leaf in the pack and it made a world of difference in its payload and towing. i always run "E" rated tires and have had 10k trailer and load combinded (16k gross) and not once has it swayed on me. Ladder bars take away any wagging the dog too. If you want to get serious add a set of air bags and try to make the truck squat then

Ladder bars (traction bars?)
Or are you talking about the sway bar?

My 350 didn't come with sway bars.

I bought an f350 CC SRW and I have been working on it to get it to pass inspection/run better. I bought it to haul trailers and bed loads for my landscaping business. I currently drag around a 16' dual axle landscaping trailer with an '04 Pathfinder... You want to talk about sag and waggin' the dog? I got airbags and they help, but not much. All it takes is the guy loading sifted soil or stone to dump the load 2' too far to the rear and I am all over the place. When you are on a two lane highway and it starts swayin' at 60mph, it turns your ******* into a balloon knot! LOL!!!

My bad, yes traction bars. It keeps the rear end from flexing front to back (horizontaly) which is what wags the truck around. I know for myself it helped and also on my buddys 01 2500 chevy. Plus when done right, they look cool ;Sweet
