Extra Holes ?

Took my F-350s off for new paint .... Was the big hole absolutely necessary ? What is the reason for the big hole ? I wasn't going to put the emblems back on !

Oh oh, you've discovered the hidden supertune access hole. Stick a 5.5mm allen wrench in there and turn it 3/8 turn, and you'll automatically add 50 HP and 5 MPG.

Okay, I made that up. Isn't there a locator pin on the emblem that sits in that hole? I've never had the badges off on my OBSes, but on my '85, IIRC there are two holes, and corresponding locator pins on the badge.

I guess you DO need the steenking BADjezzzz.....

The only pins on the emblem , are the two little ones !! Go Figure ?

IIRC, the large hole was for a bronco emblem

gotta remember, they are a multi-use fender
