Elec. Brake Controler underdash wiring

The PO of my truck butchered up the wiring for the brake controller, and I am wanting to fix it. Does the part of the harness that the controller would plug into, unplug up under the dash somewhere? Or is it part of the main under dash harness?

Hey man...

The wires will be under the middle of the dash. The PO of my truck did the same thing. I'll have to solder the connections and then heat-shrink them. IMHO those wires are too important, to trust any other kind of connection method.

All four wires should be there, but you'll have to verify the colors. Like I said, they will be under the middle of the dash.

I know my P3 had the connections listed on it's pigtail, but I don't remember the wiring in the factory harness. I do know that blue will go to blue.. always.

Yep.. The round plug goes to the APCM (Which won't work in my 97.. )

I haven't had a issue getting it to work.

I think it's probably something to do with the tranny shifter. It's hard to shift and just feels odd. I'm going to try a new neutral safety switch assembly.
