Ok so I have a '94 7.3l IDI with an E4oD trans. It was recently rebuilt. Since then sometimes when coming to a stop and everytime in reverse after trans is warm the torque converter seem to stay locked. In reverse it bogs down to about 500 rpms. Also when driving with foot barely on accelerator it starts to make a really loud humming noise accompanied by a vibration and a rubbing noise near the trans area. Are these problems related and/or is this caused by the torque converter? The trans shop has had the truck for 3 weeks for "warranty work" on the transmission they rebuilt and seem to think its an electrical issue but I am tired of them having my truck and want to know if this is something easy that I can just take care of myself. Any input is greatly appreciated.

The converter clutch is drifting.
The tranny has internal problems. Either a bad converter or an internal leak. It's not electrical.
