Dyno Thread I found

Wonder what kind of dyno? 296hp and 487 are some pretty respectable numbers. Running a 7.3 wastegaged turbo as well...

iv been watching that thread too.but still no dyno slip.
he says its cammed.so perhaps.....we'll finally have our first dyno slip with a cam from Russ?
but why not post the slip when he made the thread.that's what i don't get.

I think his sig lists the cam as a Delta, so I don't think it's from Russ, but I could be wrong as I haven't ever ordered one from him.

I think that may be Russ's cam. He said its a Mustang dyno. More good IDI numbers, I like it

I cant wait to build my engine up and roll it it on the dyno.....I can honnestly say I have wood!!!

I should also add that I have access to a Mustang dyno. What do I need to properly measure RPM??

my typ4 cam came in a delta box, so it could very well be a typ4 cam. impressive numbers

hce, I asked where he was from. And also asked about the cam.

I think his dyno run and getting pretty good numbers shows that a Mustang dyno loads our engine better than a Dynojet. I think as we see more dynos it will prove that we can make good numbers.

I also asked him about the timing advance switch that he talked about. Do you guys think that he was talking about the cold timing advance?

yes.and i asked about such a trick in the past,and Russ responded over at FTE that the cold timing advance was only for low rpms......yeah i was bummed lol.i thought i had found a good idea from an old thread i dug up from the past haha.
so him claiming a gain on the dyno with a timing switch,also raises my suspensions.

Yep I think the turbo swap helps as well as the Moose pump. I still think he has more power left in it with a lil tuning

I think power does have something to do with advance though. NMB2 said his pump advanced the timing to make his numbers in the other thread. So idk. I'll wait for rotaryboot's answer over there?
