Drivers side exhaust manifold questions

What I want to do is run the van manifold on my truck to get rid of the flattened 90 degree bend at the rear. I just need to know if it will hit the stock cooler or if there would be enough room between the two to get some heat shielding in place.
I don't have a van manifold to check things out and see if it will work.

It will hit the truck cooler. The van cooler and manifold have to be used as a set. Remote mount the cooler. You'd have to tap holes for fittings etc but it can be done.

why? all that work is not worth it in any way for better flow buy some headers

There aren't any headers available that I know of. I have seen the na ones but none for a turbo app.
