There is a light on the dash that glows for 2 seconds every time I start it. Says ABS. I have never seen any wheel speed reluctors on the hubs or anything like that... How do I tell if it has it or not?? 93 F350 cc IDI no-turbo 4x4 srw

Hit your brakes ******* snow/gravel/dirt... see if the tires lock up or not. Kinda a redneck way to test but should tell you... and if the system works.

IIRC, the trucks of your vintage have rear ABS with a sensor that reads a toner ring behind the ring gear on the differential. I know my rear 10.25 was not the factory axle Ford put on in '86 as it has this sensor and there is a toner ring behind my ring gear. It's not hooked up to anything, but it is there. What year they started putting these on the rear 10.25 axles...???? I don't know.:dunno
