DNJ industries makes a governor setup that replaces the faulty dodge unit, it uses a gm solenoid witch can handle more fluid pressure and also deals with debris better if there are any in the fluid, symptoms of a bad governor: Hunts for the shift between 1st and
2nd and possibly other gears, hesitates before it goes into gear when you move the selector, and sometimes overheating and tranny slippage can even occur. Im sure there other things related to it to. but im wondering if maybe the new factory dodge solenoids are an improved design that will handle the pressure.
