Hey all, I was just wondering what the differance is between a t18 and a t19? Is one close ratio? When I had the 4spd in my truck it was a t18 from a 300-6 cyl, it seemed like the gears where a little far apart. I am just curious. -Brad-

Good link...if I ever decide to swap in that T19 I have sitting on the floor maybe I'll get gaskets and seals from these guys...even the master rebuild kit is cheap.

T18's don't have a synchronized first gear, it's straight cut. T19's have a syncroed first gear, and, there are 3 ratio sets, My 460 has the wide ratio set like a T18 does(6.32:1 first gear) My diesel has the 5.11 first gear, and I have one kicking around with the 4.02:1 first gear from an 85 diesel.
