common rail cummins conversion

Anyone know what all would be involved in swapping a common rail cummins in an older vehicle? Can I just use the ecu and harness from the donor truck? Or is there someone out there that would make me a custom harness?

p.s. This will be going into an older Ford truck.

Get a complete donor and just transplant all the parts and wires into Your project truck, it will save You lots of guessing.
