Ok, I've read the IDI tech article on the clutch pedal linkage rod end fix, But now my 93 has the plastic rod with the broken end -cuss  -cuss Now, is there a fix for that ? or do I have to buy a new clutch m/c ?

Does the rod pull out of the m/c ? I hate when I can't use my truck because of Fords stupid plastic pieces. :puke:

I need an easy fix :rotflmao I have more time in Jan.

Thanks,
Mike

Can you put one of those joints over the plastic rod? If there is enough there for it you should be able to. I know I am loving mine with the real rod end on it.

Here's what I found out by takeing it apart, the m/c end of the rod is metal with a smaller diameter, and the pedal end is plastic with a little bigger diameter so that it will push the start saftey switch, ( clutch needs to be pushed in to start ) So the rod end trick won't work without rewiring the switch. I Don't want to do that !

I'll let everyone know how it works out.
