I changed my glow plugs in my 97 7.3 powerstroke today and now the truck runs like it could be skipping. Could it be a lose wire under the valve cover gasked or what?
Is the check engine light on? A wire may have gotten pinched under the valve cover, or simply loose. An injector kill test preformed by someone with the proper diagnostic equipment would narrow it down to atleast a specific bank, if not the specific injector.
UVCH is your best bet to examine since you were under there. The connector has a way of coming loose easily. On the lock on the connector, that plastic arch, slip a piece of 3/8" tubing 1/2" long under it, that will keep it locked.
