This place is definitely different. Love exploring new countries! Former navy?

Not to hijack the thread i should ask a question/give feedback.

I like what you're doin making a 4db. Very unique head turner of a truck! What kinda interior you thinking of? My rig will be getting four Mastercrafts Baja RS seats

What's the difference in lightning seats? Never looked at stock seats aside from the OEM OBS seats. Very comfy for stock! My centurion seats are blown to pieces.

Powerstrokes are expensive! My brother has 2 spare blocks and misc pieces. His injector prices made my spit out my beer when he ordered em!

Ahhh yes roppongi. What a magnificent party district. Was on duty for new years but the pictures everyone got it looked crazy! Lots of Australians... what was your rate?

i was a BU, i built a shower facility by the gym? .
was a good time!
i was there from 97-98, been a long time!
lots of aussies!

the lightning seats i have are twin buckets and a center console built into 1 frame.
pretty comfortable.
the rest of the seats are in great condition.

powerstrokes are expensive.
if you think injectors are bad, a set of connecting rods cost about 3k lol
for forged h beams.
the same ones pretty much i paid 800 for for my pontiac stroker engine.
no cheap, but an awesome platform.

ok folks...
ive been trying to decide which way to go about this build....

hope you can give me your comments and suggestions.

i now have a crew cab that i will be replacing the front half of this project.
why?
because the roof will fit better, and it will make my job alot easier.
i will also be purchasing an OBS bronco soon for the rear half.
basically this is getting parted out for the new updated build....

heres my conundrum....
i have a super duty frame, and i have a LB DRW frame
the DRW frame is under the crew cab.
if i leave the CC on the DRW frame, i can save myself some work.
but i will have to swap the SD axles, which isnt a real big deal, its only work.

or i can wait for the SD frame to become available (which is my next task) and build it on that.....
which i will most likely have to re position the rear diff anyways....

the current bronco back half is going to be modified for my 6 door as a bed.

thoughts?

Either hang suspension from old frame(not to bad) or make all new body mounts(little more challenging) I say use the cc frame

swapping bodys, and swapping axles seems to be the same amount of work.
the only thing im concerned about is using the 2wd gear box with the axles.
it does have a 4" suspension lift.

or trying to bolt the SD gear box to the 2wd OBS frame....

looks like an axle swap it is!
this will make the job alot easier.

i take it there is no difference in the 2wd box and a 4 wd box?
a pitman arm is needed at a minimum.
hope the SD pitman arm works, or the SD box fits into place!
the goal is super dooper low budget.
i already gotta buy a bronco body! but thats by choice.
but 300 bucks at the junk yard isnt that big of a deal.

ill be stealing all of the OBS stuff off the dash.
the only thing i think ill need is a drivers OBS door.

got a running engine and a transmission!

since this is the case, ill be putting the engine and trans in as soon as i get a package here soon, then it will clear alot of random parts off my list!

thanks guys, you rock.
