while im waiting on parts for the 52 chev,
I decided to start the frame build on the bronco!
spent half the day looking for tires, but 255 45 18's are mounted and ready for me to
install cross members and rearend tomorrow. hopefully.
6" kick up in the rear.
sticking with the 37.5" frame width.
corporate 14, 62 chevy truck arms, and coil springs ready for action!

When it's Sunday,
And the wife has plans with her friends, and you're on baby duty..
You get up at 4 am so you can tap that ass, not the wife's, the Broncos sweet ass.

Do not like how the rims look, but that's what I have for mock up.
frame is square and ready to mod for rear suspension

...
if my neighbors didnt hate me before, they forsure, hate me now.

I don't know if that will be the final stance when it's completed but I gotta say I dig the low slung appearance in pic 4 of post #112

I have no fab skills, but to my untrained eye, it seems harder to build from scratch, than using a frame that already exists. One of these days I may be good enough to 1/4 of that... :)

using a frame that already exists is cheating.
this is a full on custom build.
2wd and on the ground.

this is just the mock up stance.
8" c-notch going in.
final ride height will depend on what the engine does to the front springs once the engine is in.

I do love ur project. Alot of time cash and parts and a touch of overkill on some things but I love that. But gotta ask... What would be the issue with using an actual centurion? Mine came from factory 4 door with 3 rows of seats and tailgate with electric window on it. Are true centurions hard to find there? Or was it one of those **** it il do it myself things?

I get that but re inventing a wheel that's already mass produced it just seems like there might be more to it than that

I don’t think I would call a Centurion mass produced. There are not that many and the ones that are for sale are usually either beat to death or cost an arm and a leg.
On top of that if you met Brian I think you would understand him making it himself. It’s kinda in his blood. You should read through some of his other threads.

There's a bunch of centurions around here three c 150s just in my town alone along wit another c350 bronco and then mine. As far as having to know him that sheds more light on the question I asked. Lol. Makes more since than built not bought. I se e tons of these centurions like mine all over my county. Bought mine running and driving stock height before all my mods to it for 800 and my buddy bought it's rhino linned twin runnin and driving for 1300. Interior is in great shape I got a small hail dent in the top and she was scratch free when I got her. No cancer either. Maybe not mass produced but as common around here as anything else.

Either way IDIot reasons ur own, just as well. Doing a wonderful job and love your work and diggin the hell out of your write-up and pics. Keep up the good work and did u do a write up on your 6 door? Really want to see that one as well. Loving the idea of the 6 door for family events and whatnot. That and it just looks cool as hell
