Right now the heaviest I tow is an 18' car trailer 7k gvw...but eventually I want to get a camper.

I picked up a Center force Dual friction clutch kit (clutch,SMF, and new bolts) on the scratch n dent rack at Summit Racing yesterday. Its an $815 kit....I paid $330 for it since it was a display unit. Never used.

You just never hear them talked about for the IDI's.

I checked the part number against the Center force website and it matches....they have 1.125 shaft size on the summit tag....I think its a typo but I'll be checking it this morning sometime

Looks like part number is correct but description is wrong...the disc fits and is the correct size and spline. Comes with an actual pilot bearing not a bushing. The 12pt bolts to hold the pressure plate to the flywheel are ARP....the strange part is the housing of the pressure plate is stamped "luk" so maybe they are buying the stampings from them...

OK...good catch... This kit came with the flywheel all bolted together. I suspect its a LUK though. The housing for the pressure plate is stamped luk too

You do have to watch those centerforce clutches. I saw a guy about get run over when he was working on a pulling truck with one. Guy in the seat reved the truck with the clutch in and in gear (not smart but still) it grabbed enough the truck lurched forward. The weights pushed enough that it grabbed.

Just something to keep in mind.

Very well may have been. This was not the greatest crackshot team working on it here as evidenced by the fact the truck was in gear with the clutch in while the guy was adjusting the carb.
