CB section

Im not sure if this has ever been sugested, but i think we should have a section for CB discusion. im sure there are alot of members who run a CB or a base station, just thought id throw it out there im sure everyone will chime in good or bad.

just opinions im running a connex 366ce alighned peaked and tuned i want echo should i install a board or just get an echo mic or box

connex is a really good radio, just be warned who you let inside the radio , to many people who have shops hack up the radio , if the radio does not have an echo board one will need installed and again beware who you let in your radio, to me echo boards are useless **** because i wanna hear what you are saying not a gargled **** that just echos and echos. best you can do is get a power mic and a linear, some good coax cable and a damn good mobile antenna

thanks echo is my preference not alot just a bit im gonna try an echo mic first dont really wannna have someone put a board it

Id suggest a mic over the board. Ive seen to many hack jobs on board installs.

Magnum makes a pretty good echo mic.

While it does have some crazy options, the echo/reverb is one of the best I have heard. Many people actually hate listening to audio enhancement but, just a touch of reverb sounds good IMO.
