Shame on me for forgetting to grab one. I need to get some longer bolts to go with my hockey puck lift on Lady Moose. Can anyone give me the size of the factory bolts on a 93', so I can get the same metric thread and diameter in a bolt about 1-1/2" longer? This will save me from loosing a day on this project. Thanks.

Mel, if my research is correct the core support bolts are metric and the rest are a standard thread.
For a 1" body lift on the 92-97 body style, here's what you should need to use for the stock body bushings.
Core support bolts 12mm-1.75 x 145mm
The forward most cab bolts they are 7/16" x 5"
And the rear cab bolts should be a 7/16" x 7.5"
The bed bolts are:
Position 1 1/2" x 6"
Position 2 1/2" x 5.5"
Postion 3 1/2" x 4.5"
Position 4 1/2" x 5"
Positions are respective to being 1 as the most forward and 4 as the farthest back in the bed.

I can't speak for the 1993, but ALL of the cab-mount bolts on my 1985 are 7/16-coarse.
If you don't know the secret, the fore-most two are impossible.
It has been a while; but, best I remember, those two bolts actually have one plain old nut, then hidden where you can't see/feel it is a threaded sleeve/nut thingie that is complete and total PURGATORY to get off, especially on one that hasn't been molested since new.
There is absolutely no sensible reason for this threaded sleeve, except to hold a portion of the assemble together while coming down the line, until it is time for the rest of things to be put on; I threw them plumb across the holler, once I got them off.

Thanks Ron. That is exactly what I needed, and yes now that you mention it I do seem to remember the Moosestang, Night Moose, and Moose Truck body lift kits all made mention of this metric/english weirdness. I'll be able to pick some up and finish it tonight then.

Mine on my 92 were all 7/16. And in doing the lift, I ended up taking the the bolts from the rear of the cab and moving them forward to the position at the front of the cab and I made the ones for the rear of the cab and the core support from all thread. One stick was enough for the job. get plenty of large fender washers. Ace hardware carried the real large heavy duty ones around here

Whenever I get a concrete floor and roof over my projects, I am going to remove the cab-mount perches from the frame and EXTEND the length of them by at least three inches.
I also intend to make the bolt-holes such that one set of holes gives me a two-inch lift, and the other holes will be three-inch.
Thus, I can eliminate the riser blocks.
The risers have been no problem whatsoever; I just like the idea of raising the mounts, like on a big truck.
