Brake Problem

5 years ago I put on new pads and rotors on the front. I had a bad shake at about 50mph. It gradually went away.

The other day I could hear brake noise. The front right outside pad had tore into the rotor again. The inside pad was good. Both front left pads were good. Went ahead and put new wagner pads and rotors on both sides. Took it out and the shake is back again. It happens around 50mph- but not all the time. It also shakes when I turn hard right and left(back and forth) at slow speeds. It doesn't do it all the time just most of the time.

I'm guessing it may be a sticking caliper. Not sure though. Anybody got any ideas. thanks.

if one of the pads wears faster than the other--sticking pins--no matter what type---clean em up--and i slather every spot in antisieze--eop--end of problem--check the pins for excess wear tho--and put anti on the inside where the pins slide--

I see so-called mechanics do brake jobs all the time and never lubricate anything.

Replace brake hoses to calipers(don't know what year your truck is, etc.) and shake at low & or higher speeds would lead me to check wheel bearings.
