Brain trust questions

What's it take to put group 31 batteries into an obs?
I hunted the post where someone did an upgrade and built new boxes but couldn't find it.
I have 2- 6 mo. old batteries in the 5er that I want to upgrade and the ferd is due for new ones.

They fit fine in my 91. I believe what I had seen for the OBS was just lowering the trays about an inch. I think they cut the mounting tabs off and put some 1" flat bar in to drop everything down. That's just going off memory though.

when i did Andrews truck, i didnt like how they fit with the factory battery trays.
i dropped them down an inch.
then ran new cables.

bring some 1/4" 1" strap, some 2/0 lugs, some good shrink wrap, and a 12 pack, well get em done

I've not had them out to look yet.
I replaced the Eastwood welder with a Miller

yes sir. its actually very simple for the like minded .
summer is skrewed with family sheet but i need to get out on the trail!
need to replace fuel pump now... so shake own is almost done and i can finish the chero

Well darn it! If you had said it's for the simple minded, then I'd feel like it's for me. Now I'm not so sure.
