I have really been looking over the powerstroke turbo pics and looking under my hood to see if I might try it.

Things look pretty tight around the trans for up pipes, do I need to do a body lift first?

Also, and unrelated, has anyone really found any advantages to an electric fan conversion yet that they can report?

The body lift will give you more room to work with when building a setup but you could probably do it without one, ATS, Banks, and Hypermax all made their kits fit without a body lift. It will just be a little easier with a body lift, especially when it comes time to run your downpipe.
