Best Coolant for IDI?

Whats the best brand coolant to use for an 83 6.9L? I've read all the stuff on cavitation etc.; wondered if people have favorites (other than the Evans upgrade).

Green non-silicate. With DCA-4 added after the fact. That's the old school way. I stay away from those high tech other colors.

I understand about green low-silicate -- wondered if there are any specfic brands that are 'bettter' than others?

I liked to use the one from Fleetguard, but they changed it, and I'm not sure what it is now, so I've been using the good old Motorcraft stuff.

I like the Fleet Charge from Tractor Supply. Had it going on a year and a half and SCA's seem to be holding true. I did have to add to it a couple of times though due to heater core replacements, so that probably helped. I will flush and fill this spring. I also don't drive my truck much, but when driven, it usually is pulling a load, but if I drove it more, it would probably be a different story SCA wise.

Fleet Charge is what I use to and it's holding up good for me!
