Got a shop here in Toronto that can do the whole truck custom from the manifold to tailpiece. Quoted SS, magnaflow, all mandrel starting 3” of y. $1150 USD all in cash.

Just really questioning how it’ll help the engine. Because I’ll never do it again.
I wonder if the price would change much with 2 1/2? I bet 3 inch is a pain to run and you are still N/A. I am all about the stainless though.

I wonder what kind of stainless the will use? The OEM's use the stainless that can rust a little bit, but lasts a very long time. Then you have the stainless that can be polished like a mirror if you had a mind to do that.

I wonder how far back a person could get with one of these kits? I am not running my side fuel tank anymore, just the rear one. So I would have room to run down both sides. The duals do sound good if you can control the sound with decent mufflers.

Probably not much, but it would last a long time being stainless.

Me too!
If you are in an area that treats the roads with salt, stainless really won't last all that much longer than good aluminized steel. Stainless doesn't like salt.

True I’m in Ontario so yes a lot of salt… I’ll research more about the metal alloys, that’s good to know.

Thanks for all the replies plenty to think about, cheers.
