auto to manual swap

ok just quick question i yanked the e4od junker out and threw my 4spd in for the time being, my question is will it start without a auto trans in it or do i have to do something with the wireing cause everything else is the same just a manual trans now and this is on my 91idi so far the biggest part i found is my rear driveshaft is to small

yep...there is a connecter that came off that e4od that had 4 wires on it....take the red w/ blue stripe pair and wire those together.

the other ones are for the reverse lights. just did this on an 86 f150
