As Promised, I took a few pics of the piping before the truck heads out to Kens for a motor. I may have missed one it should still be on my camere at work, It is the passenger side fender well, just a mirror image of the drivers side.
Let me know if anyone wants more pics, I will have the truck at the lot for another day or so.

I'm glad you mader home safe, That is the same turbo that's on the 86 I'm dealing on. How much $$$$$ the way she sits? I think I have A good 6.9 that would fit quite nicely:D .

+1 to all of what Ryan said.

If I go the IC route, I'm going to need to do some custom work on the right-side pipe. The one you have pictured, as well as Ryan's setup, go right through where I located my coolant filter...

Thanks for the pics!

BTW, pulling the airbox to get some better shots of the intake hat area shouldn't be too hard. Two bolts (or nuts/studs, if the original hardware's there that was supplied by ATS) holds the bottom half on, and the top half just slips onto the turbo intake...

Warden-

That passenger side pipe is easily re-routed, if you've got some pre-bent parts and a welder. Lets see your setup and come up with a solution!

Yeah, the intake hat would be interesting to see. But being a southern boy and all, I understand if you DON"T wanna stand in the snow and take more pics just yet after that hellride you just got off of.
It seems the upper pipes would have to have been custom bent to allow for the stock airbox to be used. It does look like the drivers side pipe is going to have to be removed anytime you get into the airbox.

That's good to hear :) although I don't have welding equipment. Towcat, how busy's Tom these days? ;)

Below is the most recent picture I have on this comp. I've done some wiring work since then (and, actually, need to do some more; need to get the 7.3l GP system working properly), so there have been a few minor changes. Next time I see my truck, I'll take a better picture of the engine compartment. I also just realized that that pic was taken before I actually installed the filter element.

That's a sweat looking setup there Darrin. I hope you get all the problems worked out with that truck so it can make someone happy. As for the white stuff, ship some down to me. I'm running out of time to have a white Christmas. Mel's weather cam.
