It has to be fuel related. Could be either pump or injecter related. Might want to think about a Baby Moose pump. Then you will know you have a great pump. No more of that ..."Were sorry but please try another of our pumps crap"... That was some sad business there.. I will never buy from the florida panhandle from now on...

Uh, read my sig...after three funky Pensacola deals (two dropped shipped from someone else) I shipped my original IP to Mel.

With some 190,000 miles on my original IP Mel said it was in pretty good shape, just the advance piston showed some wear.

Anything can or could be going on so, come early Spring and when the fear of snow is gone I may pull the Baby Moose and Injectors and either mail or driver them to Conestoga Diesel.

BTW, I'm the one that gave name to "The Baby Moose"

I remember reading about somebody adding regular gasoline to their diesel fuel to change the way it burned.
I don't remember much of the story can anybody help clarify this?

Well, I would stay FAR away from that idea. Not sure what it does to make the fuel burn different but we need all the lubricity we can get with our rotary pumps, and gas would certainly lessen the lube properties of diesel fuel.....which is already very low with our ULSD chit that we are paying an arm and a leg for.

Maybe waste oil fuels.
Back in the day, the old truckers did it, but that's when diesel was good.
