I like my transfer tank. That counts as dual tanks to me.I'm one of few who prefer dual tanks but would like to someday go to a reliable e-fuel setup.

You sure can tell that it's an International engine. The valve covers, the color of the engine, the CDR tube to the back of the intake. and the throttle cable attachment are all International only items. Also, anyone ever wonder where Ford got the valve cover mounted CDR idea for the Factory Turbo engines? They didn't. If you look at the engine serial number on this engine (a little late now since it's already in the van) you'll see that it starts out "7.3DM2U". That is also an international only thing with the "M" in the serial number. Also found this pic of the bus engine before pulling items off…
You have a fuel heater on the filter head so it's the 7.3 style. There's an o ring to seal the fuel heater. That can leak. You also probably use the two piece fuel filters with the screw on bowl on the bottom of the filter. That can also leak. You can buy one piece fuel filters that go on your filter head and they come with a built in water drain so that eliminates one possible leak point.Have these older photos already on phone not sure if this will give a clue.
I went this route.. You can buy one piece fuel filters that go on your filter head and they come with a built in water drain so that eliminates one possible leak point.
I'm impressed you got the IP gear cover off with the IP still in place.
Yes they are. I thinkthere's something special about diesel engines that you can't plug into a scanner.IDI engines more of a cult following like the early bronco crowd?
The prices have really jumped in the last 1 1/2 years or so. That's speaking about around me. Other places may have prices that jumped up sooner. With all the electronics and prices on new vehicles seems like these will be hunted down.
