well after tons of looking and computing I finally gave in and ordered a set of the flip-up towing mirrors for the 2000. :Sly
I'm here to tell ya if you haven't done it and find a set at a reasonalble price, the amount of time it takes to put them in is a drop in the bucket.
i started at about 8 last night and was done with the install at 8:45, granted I was working alone & could have used another set of hands, but made do! by about 9 I had 'em all adjusted and took 'er out for a spin. Nice I tell ya'll, real nice. I never realized how pitiful those 'LIL mirrors really were! I'll be hook'n on to the horse trailer on Saturday to give them the first REAL test run.
I will say that on the way home there was no noticable difference in the overall performance of the truck!
