AC compressor & on board filtering setup.

Has anyone ever used the AC compressor (if the AC system is shot) to move wmo around. Mainly would be used for
picking up or transfering, not using it to push wmo fuel through the system.
I read one time about someone making a filtering system while you drive.

Probably not a good idea. The compressor's job is to compress a gas -- generally R12 or R134a. The refrigerant is generally not a liquid as it passes through the compressor. It becomes a liquid again, after it cools in the condensor. WMO, is a liquid...liquids are not known for their compressibility. I expect what might happen is that the compressor would get a good slug of WMO in it, and either lock up, or break something.

What really matters is what kind of valves the compressor has in it, and whether there's always somewhere for the oil to go during the compression stroke. Cause it ain't gonna compress very much at all...

The compressor is an air pump. If you could turn the wmo into a vapor, then it would work perfectly

You could probably use the vacuum side to evacuate a super sucker tank, then use the pressure side for a compressor to push the oil out.

Originally I thought taking apart the compressor enough to cut down the high pressure to a more "manageable" level.
The vacuum side sounds interesting.
This all started from looking through a Northern Tool catalog and seeing a hydraulic pump with V-belt pulley, pump & bracket, something about a automotive application.
Gotta stop with the Northern Tool stuff
