2 hours to tape, sand, clean, spray, and clean gun...
but there were bong shenanigans happening.
today is a "mama" day, but i didnt work much yesterday so i con'd her into letting me spray the black.

gonna hit the water up and take the babies to the beach.
them ill come home and remove the masking.

i must admit, there are visable sanding marks over the whole truck.
like i said this truck was a learning curve.
i wasnt expecting a perfect paint job, just something to make it look decent.
her new name is 1 blocker..lol
she will look daymn good from a block away...

the next thing i paint will be better!!

sadly i dont think it will be done by the GTG.

1 blocker lmao! that's like a crazy long cab. "one blocker crazy cab" :D now you need to have a custom bumper sticker made up: real men don't drive minivans,we build 6 door trucks.;Really

what grit sandpaper did you use as the final step?

180 grit was my final.
But I was in a hurry to get it done,
The next time I'll build it up more with primer and get it glass before I lay base/clear or single stage.
I learned what to not do next time.
I'd say that the learning curve was successfull!

I had a friend who owned a body shop help me with my CJ-2A build 30 years ago. Learning form a Pro really helps.

I predict the next build to be a 6 door with an 8ft bed and rear axel steering, since it will be to long to normally steer it anywhere. :D hay maybe you could start selling them. I would call it the manvan, has the seating of a van and the manliness of a truck. ;Really
