6.9 diesel with a little over 200k on it
ZF 5 speed overdrive manual transmission out of a later model truck (converted from C6 auto)
South Bend 13" clutch with solid flywheel- brand new 5k mi. ago
'97 Dana 60 frontend, 4.10 gears, fresh wheel bearings, shackle reversal
'96 10.25 rearend 4.10 posi
Fresh starter, alt, batteries and cables, new driveshafts, wired for towing with prodigy brake controller
VERY reliable, runs and drives well. I drove it to Seattle over the summer without any problems at all.
2nd gear synchros are a little worn but you get used to it. Will do 17mpg hwy if you are easy on it.

That would be dope under the '66 Crew... Yank that slant nose skin off there, shorten the wheelbase (yeah, I am shorter than a longbox).. and bada bing!
