7.3 build... parts list.

so ive just filed my taxes, about 8600 going to be thrown into my 01 6 door.
heads have been done, new Inconel valves, new springs and cups, they are good to go

taking a 97 short block to the shop.
most likely a 020+ bore, turn the crank balance everything, and getting it back together.

below ive made a list of things I need.
if you know of a better part, or the same a little cheaper, im all ears.

the bearings and pistons, im going to let the machine shop source.


most of this is through thoroughbred diesel.

GTP38R- $1431
Mahle head gaskets- $84
ARP studs- $619
adrenaline hpop- $789
swamps 160/100's -$1875
TS w/ swamp tune- $190

im pretty stuck getting these injectors, ive had several friends run these and will not suggest anything else.
plus the 200k warranty is pretty awesome.
what else should I be getting?

For the turbo, skip the run of the mill 38R. One of two things, go t4 (s3xx series) or get the kc38r from cncfab. (Corey)
Same with hpop, talk to him.
The ts6 is okay, but I'll still always recommend the php hydra first.
Better be doing bellowed up pipes....

already got the bellowed ups, ebpv delete, going to build my own fuel bowl delete, kinda want a drop in turbo.
im not building a hotrod, just a reliable runner.
ill check out cncfab

Just make sure you have a good EGT gauge in case the skinny pedal goes to the floor.

A 4" down pipe would be nice, but that might make it a hotrod.
