Maybe an appropriately angled spacer will allow proper clearance
thats doable. but i quite enjoy making things like that. time will tell.
gonna get that pontiac out of the garage tomorrow and get the front cover, oil pump , pick up and pan on, and maybe make a run stand.
i lack casters.

casters. to make that roll around engine stand, moveable with 1100 pounds on it

front cover finally sealed, oil pump on, water pump done, tomorrow i gotta cut the engine mount so i can get the back cover on, then, a stand.

bottom end all buttoned up.
got everything to make a run stand.
flywheel and starter are ready to go on.
gotta get this thing off the engine stand so i can finish up the oil cooler and filter mounts.

if anyone has a DT360 2 piece water pump pulley, im in the market.

i bought a 3 groove, this can go back on the dt466
also bought a oil regulator waiting on that so i can mock up the oil system and cooler.

needs a turbo return, and oil filters to finish the oil system.
t-stat hose, filter, and inlet adapter to finish the cooling system.
i need to hook up a can of diesel, and again, a filter to complete the fuel.

time pump, adjust rocker arms, install flywheel and starter.

cant wait to hear this run.

Looking awesome! Glad to see another build, I never cracked my engine open for my swap.

big things coming! including another round for the 87 6 door, it needs a bit of lift.

i still dont have an intended use for this. YET.
but hope to get it running soon.
