I recently scored a zf/us gear combo, and it is time for my e4od to leave. Truck will be getting a 6.9 at the same time (with stock solid flywheel) and I cant remember what clutch should be used.

truck as it sits now is 7.3 and e4od.

I could be wrong but I was under the impression that you cannot use a 6.9 flywheel with a zf. In order to do so you would have to have the flywheel re-drilled to accept a zf5 clutch, I think the easiest thing to do is but a zf5 clutch kit with a solid mass flywheel. You cannot use a t19 clutch with a zf5 to my knowledge, again I could be wrong but that's my understanding.

I used a LUK SMF flywheel and clutch kit on my ZF swap. No problem and fairly affordable. I swapped from a C6, but I also recall reading that the T19 flywheels will not interchange over to the ZF.

Search for my thread, "completed my T-19 to ZF swap today" I have part numbers there. AMS 12'' clutch (07-131) AMS 12'' clutch (07-131)

Due to the ZF being designed for a DMF, the 7.3L flywheel is much thicker than a 6.9 flywheel for the T-19. So either a DMF, lucky mod DMF, or other flywheel designed for the ZF must be used.
