460 to 6.9 engine mounts

Will the lowers bolt on or am I going need to fab something to fit the '77?

Sounds like a question for the rare few who have done this conversion already. I can tell you that the 6.9 motor mount plates bolted right to an 87 Bronco cross member, but that doesn't really help you I don't think.

i believe that if you use the mounts for the diesel you will be fine.i dont think ford changed anything in the engine mounts through the years.i know the 460 mounts for an 87 f350 will fit a 79 f350 cuz thats what i used when i replaced a 351 modified with a 460
