Mr. Greens keeper, thank you,
The problem started happening more often.. the IPR is a sob in the econoline.

Always wanted to do fuel bowl delete and thus was the time.
IPR harness and connector damaged. Insulation of wiring and rubber seal of the connector gone and slimy.
Maybe wiring shorted???

Thread drift ahead.

This e350 is converted to 4*4 . I have had for 25 yrs now.. at some moment I put a 2 tank wvo system in it with TIH heat exchanger. Had some fair share of mechanical pump issues..and some fair share of swear words to get to it.. so ultimately I knew it had to go.
You can see the fuel pressure is 55psi. The sight glass is in the return low pressure . It confirms the color, dino it wvo, and thus the safe moment to transfer return tank from wvo to dino.
Also confirms air bubbles, temp. and some other issues .
The 4micron filter after an original diesel fuel pump fits nicely behind the front axle mount. For know I will keep the routing if the original fuel in and return lines.
To purge and for flush/ air reason I kept the fuel pressure regulator if the old filter housing.. put a small brass header on the bleed nipple . That is where I connected the fuel pressure gauge. The brass nipple serves as a air buffer / heat sink in the hope that the 1/4" nylon tube does not get to hot from the return fuel. It has an internal restriction of 1/32" hole in case it blows. That is all hypothetical for now. haha

Very well thought out fuel system. I really like the fact that you ditched the fuel bowl, but retained the factory fuel pressure regulator and located it someplace that you can actually service it.

By the way: I don't hate vans. I just hate working on them. I think the Quigley Sportsmobiles are one of the coolest and most functional getting to the best fishing/camping/out of bounds rigs of all time. Sounds like you built yours and were smart enough to hang on to it for the long haul.

Yes this is a Quigley, were you able to see that from the suspension mount? No smb but we used to camp with it.
Then it sat for a couple of years because we got a small E350 psd schoolbus. Converted that to 4*4 using a Quigley setup. Unfortunately I had an accident with that one and am still repairing it.
All had a purpose .....now this got some well deserved attention.
