make sure all your brake lights, turn signals,4 way flashers, and 3rd brake light work.if all that is good you can try jumping the plug on the brake master cylinder.does your tach and speedo work?

Sometimes its a vacuum problem. Locate the large tomato can looking vacuum resivour near the master cylinder. Mine had a hole in it under the barrel. I used RTV on it years ago and its been fine. Another vacuum place to look is the vacuum breaker valve located on the brake peddle. Check and see if its closed when the peddle is up. As you press on the peddle this action opens the valve and that drops the vacuum so the cruise shuts down.

Its a 5 speed
is it a factory turbo or an aftermarket turbo????if its factory the 5 speed is your problem.the turbo IDI only came with an auto trans.if it is a factory turbo truck you need to check all the wireing for the tranny.something isnt hooked up right.i did a 5 speed conversion on my 94 turbo truck and my cruise still works

A 94' will have electronic cruise. I don't believe there is any vacuum involved with that system.

He is right, all electronic, mine was not working because of the clutch depression switch, will your truck start without mashing in on the clutch.

There are two different switchs and feeds coming from the clutch switch.

'93 is the year they went to all electric cruise.
'92 still had the vac setup. remember the first year of any new body style is the morphidite.

if his was an auto then im willing to bet his truck is like mine and will start without stepping on the clutch.but whoever did the conversion didnt wire it right most likely.i was expecting my cruise to not work when it was done but it works perfectly.
