So I got my hands on the motor from the above listed truck. 179K. Said it ran but not well. Need to build a stand for it and figure out what is what. Perhaps try to start it on the stand and see what not well is. Got everything but the down pipe and the intake to the ATS box. No oil in it so no intel there.

Anyone know the distance between the motor mounts on these things? Any available plans for an engine stand/frame? Anyone played with the industrial mounts and how they differ from regular mount locations? Do you have to remove front accesories and relocate them or are there bolt holes for it already available? Looking to put this in a 72 F600 with the 330 in it. It has the industrial mount on the front of the block. Better to just install regular mounts? Thanks.

The front style motor mounts (industrial) mount to the holes that are used to ground the negative battery cables on Ford applications so the holes are already there. I don't remember where the battery cables ground on Internationals.

This made think for a minute about my international I had... The batteries grounded to the frame, mostly because the batteries are mounted in a box under the cab. But I don't remember any kind of jumper cable from the engine to the frame, so the engine must ground through the engine mounts and transmission mounts.
There was a lot of things I preferred about the international as far as simple design, that was one of them.
